Our Mission
Ek Neev is a non-profit organisation focusing on empowering girls and women from low-income backgrounds and marginalised communities and supporting them on their journey towards financial independence. Ek neev means ‘foundation’ in Hindi. True to its name, the organisation is dedicated to educate and support girl child in every way possible and give wings to their dreams. The foundation helps women to have a sustainable livelihood and in turn creates a safe community for them. Read more about how we achieve this.

Our Approach
We will support girls from a young age through financing their education, extracurricular activities and their overall development and give wings to their dreams. In turn, after their successful journey into becoming a strong, educated woman they will be a great support to the foundation and a source of inspiration to society. Our livelihood support program for women aims to build a network that provides them with knowledge, values and skills to become financially independent. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community. We hope that our initiatives bridge the gender gap in education and achieve an overall social, economical transformation for females. In order to create a safe community for independent women, we also help build a hygienic and green environment for them.
